"A debate with no right or wrong answer that must be uncomplicated enough to discuss after three beers"

First available in the Barguments book ($9.95, Simon Spotlight Entertainment) Barguments now come to you in convenient electronic form. (Note to iPhone/iPod Touch users: Unlike the book form, we do NOT recommend using the Barguments app as a coaster.)

Barguments have become something of a media sensation, with raves from the New York Post, Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun and humorist Dave Barry, who called Barguments "better than a DNA test" at identifying gender.

Before you start, you should know Barguments follow three simple rules:

1. The answer to a Bargument cannot be proven right or wrong.

2. A Bargument cant be a buzz kill. So no arguing over politics, global affairs or moral dilemmas that bring everybody down (Would you kill a stranger to cure cancer?). However, feel free to debate pretend wars between dogs and monkeys.

3. No Bargument should be too complicated to debate after three beers. (Please dont bargue and drive.)

This application contains nearly 200 new Barguments you wont find in the book. Just click Next or shake your phone (careful if youve passed the three-beer zone!) to have the next one appear on the screen.

For some of our most divisive Barguments, weve included the Happy Hour Poll feature. Click and find out how America answered. Dont hold it against the country if theyre wrong.

Dont be shy about sharing, either. Some of the best barguing occurs in a barroom full of strangers. Youd be amazed how quickly a crowd divides over weighty questions about sex, junk food, and the Dukes of Hazzard.

Enjoy, and remember to submit your own Barguments through the app. Well post them on the barguments.com website and let America vote. Its really the only way to find out if youre right or wrong.
